Paramount’s involvement with 35mm TVC’s stretches back to 1984. Trevor trained as a 35mm Commercials Editor at the country’s top Post-Production house, Trevor Hill Post Production. He worked with top Agencies, Cameramen and Directors in the silver age of TVC production – when budgets were lavish and TVCs were mini-movies.(Directors: Lesley Dektor, Peter Heath). This gave him insight into genres, styles and techniques.
Add to this Trevor’s training in Theatre performance and you have a Commercials Director with a fine knowledge of style and genre, capable of eliciting good performances from actors. Trevor is totally tuned in to the use of Commercials as a sales tool and understands how and why the medium works.
