You can use two types of caption files:

  • Caption file (recommended): This file contains the text and other information to time your captions with your video.
  • Transcript file: This file only contains the text. If you upload a transcript, the video player will have to determine when the words should be displayed. Transcript files take extra time to process and only work for English and Japanese.

Yes,  we very experienced in live streaming. We can offer one or two cameras. We mix between the cameras while its live.

What is involved in live streaming?

We provide our own fast internet connection so the stream won’t drop out. We can host your event on a dedicated page. This page can be designed to reflect your brand. As its on dedicated server there will be no issues with music copyright or access. We provide a link to the live stream well before the event starts.

Can you help with script writing?

Yes we have an experienced team of writers.

What materials do you need to be able to write the script?

We look at your website and any marketing/training material before we write the script. We also have an online meeting to discuss target markets, distribution platforms, durations and storylines.

If we need actors, do you find them and how much do they cost?

Yes we can cast actors and are experienced at finding the right actor/model/presenter for the job.

We can get less experienced actors from $50/hr. if the shoot is for a full day we can negotiate a price.

What is the process involved in finding actors/presenters?

We put out a casting call. We make the selection. We send you a shortlist. The client makes the final choice. We book and pay for the actors.

How do we know what to wear on the shoot?

Paramount Video has a detailed guide on what colours and textures are best for video. We will supply this during the planning stages.

Who schedules the day of filming?

Paramount Video create a comprehensive shooting schedule so the day runs on time and we get all the filming completed as planned.

We create a comprehensive call sheet with  a complete running order of the day.

What is the clients role on the day of filming?

The client looks through the on set monitor to ensure the shots are what they want and the brand is reflected correctly.

If protective clothing need to be worn it’s their responsibility to ensure its correct.

They also need to make sure the presenter/actor is delivering the lines they way they want them to be said.

If the shoot if for a full day, the client will often organise lunch and drinks for the crew.

What is a talent release form?

A talent release form confirms the amount the talent is being paid and the scope of their work, includes a release of liability and creates certainty around who owns and can use the intellectual property created. Paramount Video will provide this form and get it signed. The client then keeps it for thier records.

How do you ensure my brand is correctly represented in the video?

The client needs to supply a style guide. We use this when editing. We follow the fonts and colours shown in the style guide.

What editing software do you use?

Paramount Video uses the Adobe Suite of products. Adobe Premiere, after Effects, media Encoder, Lightroom and Photoshop.

We also use DaVinci Resolve and 3D Max for animations.

Do you have a stock shot library of photos and videos?

Paramount Video had an extensive library of stock video and photos we use at no extra charge to the client.

Can you animate my logo?

Yes, we offer stunning 2D animations and can show you our showreel of title animations.

We usually create an opening and closing animation and a lower third animation.

Can you do 3D animation of my product?

Yes we have a team of talented 3D animations.

They use 3d MAX to animate.

They ofter use the CAD drawings as a reference.

It’s a time consuming process so make sure to allow enough time for this.

What happens after filming, how involved is the client?

The client usually come to the edit suite to look at the rough cut and make the final edit choices.

This is your film and you have full control of the final edit.

If I want to select specific parts of the interview , how can I do this?

Paramount Video provides, an online link and you can suggest edit points online.

You can also share this link with colleagues , this makes collaboration easy and effective.

You can also print the edit suggestions to review.

Do you assist with finding a professional voice over artist?

Yes we send you a link to a website that has a huge selection of professional voice over artists and you make the selection.

Do I need to pay for music copyright?

No, we use royalty free music and effects.

How do I get the master files?

We provide them as a dropbox link that you can download. You don’t need to have dropbox to do this.

Who owns the copyright to the material filmed?

The client owns all the copyright. We can add text at the end of the video (All Rights Reserved. ___date). This protects you further. we can also add a watermark of your logo throughout the video. This will protect illegal copying of your material.

I have filmed some video material; do you only provide editing services?

Yes, we can edit your material as long as the quality is reasonable and you provide a clear brief, we are happy to just edit.
